About
I'm a doctoral candidate at the 'Autonomous Robots and Multi-agent Systems (ARMS)' Lab at Systems and Control Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. My research interests lie in the intersection of the domains of motion planning, control, and safety for mobile robots. It is primarily targeted towards applications in complex, dynamic, and uncertain environments such as crowds. I'm also a recipient of the prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship. I'm open for opportunities in India as I'll be tentatively graduating by May 2025.
Timeline
(May 2024) My research article titled "Guaranteed safe navigation via state-constraints induced by feedback control" is published in Elsevier Mechatronics.
(May 2024) Received the IGSTC PhD Industrial Exposure Fellowship. Will be carrying out an internship in the Robotics and Assistive Systems division of Fraunhofer IPA at Stuttgart, Germany from August 2024 to January 2025.
(April 2024) My research article titled "Choreographing Safety: Planning via Ice-cone inspired motion sets of feedback controllers for car-like robots" accepted for oral presentation at the 13th International Workshop on Robot Motion and Control, Poznań, Poland.
(March 2024) Presented a poster at the Indo-German Workshop on "Frontiers of Robot Learning" at IIT Bombay.
(December 2023) Presented a guest talk on "Non-Linear Control Systems" for undergraduate students in Electrical Engineering at Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Mumbai.
(August 2023) Conducted a Workshop on the ROS (Robotic Operating System) Fundamentals for the undergraduate students at Dr. D Y Patil's Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, Navi Mumbai.
(August 2023) Presented a guest talk at DRDO, R&D Engineers, Pune, on "Integrated Planning and Control for Mobile Robots".
(February 2023) Attended the workshop on "Innovations in Non-Linear Control" at IIT Bombay.
(November 2022) Received the Prime Minister's Research Fellowship for the May 2022 cycle.
(December 2021) Gave an oral presentation of my research article titled "Mobile Robot Navigation using State-Constrained Sliding Mode Control" at the Indian Control Conference 2021.
